Backgammon 00285. Digital files for manufacturing products on a laser machine (co2 or diode).

A full month of work. Every element is drawn by hand, from the first sketches to the final vector lines, with lots of fine engraving.

The board follows the standard playing field of 430 × 230 mm (it can vary slightly with material thickness). The checkers are 27 mm in diameter; 6–8 mm plywood works best for them.

Despite its size the construction is very strong. The playing field is glued in separately, so you can easily adapt the project for any other game of this format. Inner stiffening ribs between the cover and the field stop warping and twisting.

All graphics are original; the symbols carry no meaning beyond decoration.

Your laser needs a work area of at least 500 × 300 mm. There are over 100 parts, but assembly is straightforward; just do not mix up the top and bottom sections, they differ slightly. The engraving takes time because of the detail.

The magnetic lock needs 2 round magnets 5 mm in diameter, no thicker than the material. More thicknesses can be added on request.
