Build a mini chest of drawers exactly the size you need. This parametric project lets you set the number of drawer columns and rows (1 to 6 each), the size of every drawer, the gap around the drawers and your material thickness, and generates a matching set of cutting files. The chest is drawn with a decorative wavy top, layered double-wall sides, base and top, corner brackets, foot pads and round knobs on the drawers.
Every drawer slides smoothly on its own shelf. Ideal for Tarot and oracle cards, runes, dice and tokens for tabletop games, jewelry, crystals, beads, small tools or desktop stationery. Make one big chest, or a tall narrow column, or a wide low one.
You can adjust:
- - columns: 1-6
- - rows: 1-6
- - drawer width: 60-300 mm
- - drawer height: 54-150 mm
- - drawer depth: 80-400 mm
- - gap between the drawer and the walls: 0.2-3 mm
- - material thickness: 3-6.35 mm (3 mm, 1/8", 3.6 mm, 3.8 mm, 4 mm, 4.5 mm, 5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 1/4" all work)
Default model (2 x 2 drawers, 3.8 mm material):
- - drawer size: 107.6 x 154.4 x 58.8 mm (4.24 x 6.08 x 2.31")
- - approximate external size: 257 x 180 x 146 mm (10.1 x 7.1 x 5.8")
External size depends on the number of drawers and the material thickness.
Kerf (cut compensation): the download contains two sets of files, 0 mm and 0.15 mm.
