A single-digit counter with a magnetic holder. It takes about 5 minutes and very little material.
For wood, rub a little wax or paraffin on the moving parts and use wood glue. For acrylic, use the kerf_0 files, which assemble more easily in hard material; epoxy glue holds well.
The holder needs 2 magnets 3 mm wide.
